American Flags Burned Amid Anti-Trump Chants
Shocking footage captured Saturday night shows dozens of masked protesters surrounding a burning American flag in a downtown Los Angeles intersection.
Some demonstrators took turns spitting on the flag, while others sprayed accelerants to intensify the blaze. A second flag was soon thrown onto the fire, escalating the spectacle.
As the U.S. flags burned, protestors hoisted flags from South American nations—including Mexico—sending a clear message of political and cultural defiance. Chants of “F— Trump” rang out through the crowd, echoing the radical tone that has increasingly defined these demonstrations.

Citing “lawlessness that has been allowed to fester,” Trump issued a presidential memorandum deploying 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles.
The decision came after federal authorities noted inaction from state and local leaders. Both California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass had refused to take aggressive steps to control the situation, according to White House sources.
